Neuro-Physiologists

The London Brain Centre is fortunate to have an accredited on site Neurophysiology laboratory, providing patients the security of knowing that all neurophysiology tests can be conducted in-house by experts allowing results to be reported on without any delay.

Our dedicated team of Consultant Neurophysiologists and their supporting technicians work closely with our Consultant Neurologists & Neurosurgeons to undertake intra-operative monitoring during brain surgery and provide various electrical studies on the nervous system. These studies include nerve conduction tests (NCT) and electromyograms (EMG), which are electrical stimulation tests specifically looking at the function of the brain, nerves and muscles.

Neurophysiologists also interpret the results of complex tests such as electroencephalograms (EEG), which are specialist brain wave tests used to diagnosis seizures and epilepsy.
